Can I add RAM, CPU or storage without changing plan?
Yes. Add-ons attach to any paid plan: extra RAM at £6 per GB, CPU at £3 per GHz, storage at £2 per 10 GB, and an extra hosted site slot at £5 a month. They are monthly, prorated by Stripe, and removable at any time.
Add-ons suit a plan that fits except for one number. If several numbers are tight at once, the next tier is usually better value; the pricing page shows both paths.
Databases have add-ons too: a dedicated database server at £6/month per site, and high availability for it at £9/month. See shared vs dedicated.

What happens when I reach a plan limit?
Nothing is charged behind your back. Limits are stated up front on the pricing page, the dashboard shows where you stand against them, and reaching one never silently generates a charge: you choose whether to add an add-on, move up a tier, or stay put.
Full answerCan I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Billing is handled by Stripe with proration, so you are only ever charged for the part of the billing cycle you actually use on each plan.
