No. Every WordPress site on G7Cloud runs in its own dedicated container with its own MariaDB database. Your site never shares a PHP process, a filesystem or database tables with anyone else, so another customer’s traffic spike or compromised plugin cannot touch your site.
Which PHP versions do you support?
PHP 7.4 through 8.4. You choose the version per site and can switch from the dashboard when you are ready to upgrade. Useful when a legacy plugin is holding you back on an older release.
How does the free migration work?
It is assisted, not a script: our team builds a copy of your site on G7Cloud while your current site stays live, you preview the copy on a temporary URL, and nothing switches over until you approve the cutover. It is free on every paid plan.
What does "restore-tested backups" actually mean?
Every night we take each backup and perform a real restore into an isolated sandbox (files and database) to prove the backup actually works. If a restore ever fails, we know the same night the backup is taken, long before you would need it.
