How do I pay, and is the price shown really what I get charged?

Payment is by card, processed by Stripe. This pricing page and our checkout read from the same data file, so the price you see here is exactly the price Stripe charges. Fixed GBP, no usage-based extras, no setup fees.

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

No trial. Something better: the Free plan is free forever, with one AI Website Builder project, one published site on a free subdomain, and 250K AI tokens a month, no card required. It never expires. On top of that, every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Stripe handles the change with proration, so you are only ever charged for the part of the billing cycle you actually use on each plan.

What happens on the Free plan long-term?

Accepted Answer

Nothing bad. It is not a countdown. Your project, your published site at yoursite.sites.g7cloud.com, your free SSL and ScaleShield protection all stay live for as long as you want them. You only upgrade when you want a custom domain, more projects, or a hosted site of your own.

What are "AI tokens" in plain English?

Tokens are the units AI models use to read and write text: one token is roughly three-quarters of a word. Every instruction you give the AI Website Builder, and everything it writes back (copy, code, edits), consumes tokens. Each plan has a monthly allowance, from 250K on Free to 6M on Agency, shared across all your workspaces and reset at the start of each billing month.

What if I run out of AI tokens before the month is up?

You have two options, both self-service from the dashboard. Add the recurring AI Builder Boost for £5/month to raise your monthly allowance by 500K tokens, every month. Or buy a one-time top-up when you need it: 500K for £7, 1.5M for £18, or 5M for £50. Top-up credits are used before your monthly allowance and expire 90 days after purchase. Either way there is no surprise usage bill: you only ever spend what you choose to buy.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes, on any paid plan. Point an A record at 31.132.2.56 and we issue free SSL automatically, wildcard certificates included. We also do full DNS hosting if you would rather move the whole zone to us. The Free plan publishes to a free yoursite.sites.g7cloud.com subdomain.

Do published builder sites use up my hosted site slots?

No. Builder publishes have their own allowance, separate from hosted sites. On Business, for example, you get 3 hosted sites AND 3 published builder sites: six live sites in total if you use both.

What’s the difference between the shared and dedicated database?

Accepted Answer

Every site always gets its own isolated database and database user. That never changes. The difference is where it runs. On the shared tier, your database lives on a managed database server shared across sites, which is great for most sites. On the dedicated tier, a private database server runs inside your site’s own container with its own reserved RAM, included on Pro and Agency or £6/month per site as an add-on. Switching is one click from your dashboard: your site stays up in read-only mode for under a minute, and if anything fails the switch rolls back automatically.
