Where do builder sites get published?

Every plan, including Free, can publish to a free yoursite.sites.g7cloud.com subdomain with SSL. From Starter up you can publish on your own custom domain. Published builder sites have their own publish allowance and do not use up your hosted site slots.

What happens when I run out of AI tokens?

Nothing breaks and nothing is charged behind your back: your published sites stay live and editable by hand. AI work pauses until your allowance resets at the start of the next billing month, or you top up: a one-time pack (500K for £7, 1.5M for £18, 5M for £50) or a recurring AI Builder Boost at £5 a month for an extra 500K.

Can I edit a site myself after the AI builds it?

Yes, three ways: ask the builder in plain English, change copy and styling visually with click-to-edit, or open the code browser and edit the code directly. Every AI turn is checkpointed, so any change can be undone.

Yes. The shop blueprint builds a working store: product variants, stock control, collections, discount codes, order management, image uploads and Stripe checkout, backed by its own Postgres database and an admin panel you log into. It is included from the Business plan (£24/month).

Your current site stays live on your existing host throughout. We build and test the copy on G7Cloud first; the DNS switch happens only after you have previewed the migrated site and given the go-ahead.

Yes. For agencies and larger portfolios we plan the schedule with you and move sites in batches, each with its own preview and approval. The Agency plan (25 hosted sites, team roles, dedicated support) is built for exactly this.

It depends on the size of the site, but the schedule never costs you uptime: your current site stays live on your old host while we build and test the copy, and DNS only switches once you have approved the result.

Connect GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket and push to deploy, with live build logs in the dashboard. You also get pull-request preview environments (Pro and Agency), deploy webhooks to Slack, Discord or custom endpoints, environment variables, cron jobs, an in-browser terminal, and rollback by redeploying a previous build.

What databases are available?

Every hosted site gets its own MariaDB database: one per site, never shared. Managed PostgreSQL 15 and Redis 7 instances are available as add-ons from the Business plan up. phpMyAdmin and WP-CLI are included, and Pro adds a private network between your services.

What is the difference between the shared and dedicated database?

Every site always gets its own isolated database and database user. That never changes. The difference is where it runs. On the shared tier, your database lives on our managed MariaDB server, which serves multiple sites and suits most sites well. On the dedicated tier, a private database server runs inside your site's own container with its own reserved RAM. It is included on Pro, Studio, Agency and the Solo plans, or £6/month per site as an add-on. Switching is one click from the dashboard: your site stays up in read-only mode for under a minute, and if anything fails the switch rolls back automatically.

Can I use my own domain?
