What is ScaleShield?
ScaleShield is the security and speed layer in front of every site on every plan, including Free: a web application firewall (WAF), bot protection and free TLS. Hostile traffic is filtered before it ever reaches your container.
The firewall blocks exploit attempts before they reach your code. Bot protection verifies claimed search-engine crawlers against Google's and Bing's published address ranges, and gives suspect traffic an invisible browser check that humans pass without noticing.
For WordPress there is also G7Cloud Cache: pages are served from a cached copy in front of your site and cleared automatically when you publish.
