How long does a website migration take?
It depends on the size of the site, but the schedule never costs you uptime: your current site stays live on your old host while we build and test the copy, and DNS only switches once you have approved the result.
Bigger sites take longer to copy and verify, and we plan the timing with you rather than around you. For portfolios, sites move in batches on an agreed schedule.
One thing that does speed up cutover: lowering your domain's DNS TTL a day or two before the switch, so the change of address propagates quickly. We walk you through that as part of the plan.
